Who is Ben, anyway?

Ben is a senior at Stanford University pursuing a B.A. in Economics and a minor in History who has aspirations of pursuing a PhD in Mechanism Design. Ben's primary research interests lie in how individuals create and participate in complex systems and how those systems, in turn, have shaped the individuals and societies in which they were created. This interest has spurred Ben to energetically take on eclectic coursework emphasizing computation complexity, formal behavioral economics & microeconomics, human-computer interaction, and archival historical methods. Ben is also a member of Stanford Debate Society's international travel team and is a highly competent debater in the British and American Parliamentary formats, placing fourth at the North American championship.
